It's Time to Go All Natural
We tend to rely heavily on specific skincare or makeup products to help us achieve a look that makes us feel beautiful and confident in our own skin. And sometimes those products contain chemical ingredients that are actually doing more harm than good to our skin.
When looking for your skincare or makeup products, it's so important to make sure that 1) you're using products that work for your skin type and 2) you're making sure they contain natural ingredients that are good for your skin.
Here's why:
Natural ingredients don't contain harsh chemicals that can negatively impact your skin. Certain chemicals that are often found in skincare or beauty products, like parabens or formaldehyde, have been known to mess with your hormones, increase inflammation, and even cause severe breakouts. We want our skin to radiate with beauty not radiate from chemicals.
Natural ingredients are often gentler on the skin, making them ideal for those with sensitive skin. Natural ingredients typically come with fewer side effects and can work just as effectively as (if not better than) other chemical-based products. Natural products help to get the job done without adding to the problem.
Natural ingredients aren't tested on animals. Even though some skincare or cosmetic companies advertise about how they are cruelty-free, that may not necessarily be 100% accurate. They may not be directly associated with the testing themselves, but they are benefiting from the early studies done on their products or the ingredients in those products. Natural brands and products do not conduct any tests on animals since their products are pure and sourced from nature.
Natural ingredients genuinely work to protect your skin. As we age, our skin loses some of its nourishing oils and collagen, affecting the elasticity, firmness, and overall complexion of our skin. Natural products are filled with antioxidants and necessary vitamins and nutrients to help protect your skin from premature aging and slow down the aging process.
